Live in The Sims freeYou begin as
A twenty-two-year-old who has just moved to Willow Creek
Willow Creek is a lush town of bayous, rolling hills and marshy riverways, where the old families have long memories and the neighbours never stop talking. The aristocratic Goths, Mortimer and Bella, live in Ophelia Villa with their children, Cassandra and Alexander; the unhappy Pancakes, Bob and Eliza, live in Pique Hearth; and three unlikely friends, Summer, Liberty and Travis, share Garden Essence. There is a nightclub called The Blue Velvet, a gym, a museum and a library, and you have just moved in with a few Simoleons and a lot of plans.

Ways your story could start
- You have just moved into your first home in Willow Creek, a modest starter house on a quiet street. Your fridge is empty, your bills are due, and the neighbours are already peeking through their curtains. Find a job, make some friends, and figure out how to keep your Simoleons from running out before the end of the month.
- A knock at your door reveals Summer Holiday, Liberty Lee and Travis Scott from the house down the street. They have brought a casserole and a welcome basket, but they also have a lot of questions about where you came from and what you are doing in town. Your first social test is about to begin.
- You hear a loud crash from next door. Bob Pancakes is standing in his kitchen doorway, covered in flour and looking miserable, while Eliza Pancakes shouts from somewhere inside. It looks like someone could use a friendly neighbour with a working fire extinguisher.
- The mail arrives with a letter from the Landgraab family, informing you that your property taxes are due and that they are considering a development proposal for your street. Nancy Landgraab expects you to attend a community meeting at the museum tonight. Your first civic engagement is mandatory.
- As you unpack, you notice a strange tree in your backyard with an odd glow around its base. Touching it reveals a hidden entrance to Sylvan Glade, a magical woodland that no one in town has ever mentioned. Something about this place feels older than Willow Creek itself.
