Ways your story could start
- You arrive at the farm on the first day of spring. Mayor Lewis and Robin greet you, show you the overgrown fields, and point you toward Pierre's General Store for seeds. The townsfolk are curious about the new farmer.
- On Spring 5, you wander into the abandoned Community Center and witness a strange, glowing creature flit between the broken rooms. The Wizard later tells you they are Junimos, and they need your help.
- Morris from JojaMart visits your farm on the second day, offering a Joja membership that would let you buy your way to town improvements instead of restoring the Community Center. The choice is yours.
- You discover a rusty key in the museum's donation collection. It opens a manhole in Pelican Town, revealing the Sewers and a friendly Shadow Person named Krobus who runs a shop down there.
- After clearing enough debris from your farm, you find a strange, glowing tablet half-buried in the dirt. The Wizard identifies it as a piece of ancient Dwarven technology, hinting at the conflict beneath the valley.
Where you'll go
The Farm
Your late grandfather's farm, overgrown when you arrive, with room for crops, animals, buildings, ponds and machines.
Pelican Town
The principal small town, containing homes, shops, the town square, the Community Center, the museum, the clinic, the saloon, the sewer entrance, and public gathering spaces.
Community Center
An abandoned civic building north of Pierre's shop. Junimos appear inside and offer room-specific bundles; completing them restores the building and unlocks town improvements.
JojaMart
The local branch of the Joja Corporation's chain, managed by Morris. It stays open if the town sides with Joja, and closes if the Community Center is restored.
Joja Warehouse
Where the Community Center would go if you bought a Joja membership; the town would then be rebuilt through paid development projects.
