A twenty-year-old who has just woken up alone on a beach in a world made of blocks
You wake on a beach in a world made of cubes. The sea is cubes, the sun is a square, and the trees come apart when you punch them, dropping logs into your hands. You have no memory of how you got here and nothing in your pockets. The sun is already sinking, and somewhere in the forest something groans, a green shape with no arms is watching you from the shadows, and you hear a quiet hiss.

Ways your story could start
- You wake on a beach with nothing but the clothes on your back. The sun is low and the forest behind you rustles. You need to punch a tree and build a shelter before dark.
- A village lies a day's walk to the east, smoke rising from its chimneys. But night is falling and the path goes through a dark forest. Do you risk the journey or dig in where you are?
- You find a ruined portal half-buried in the sand. Its obsidian frame is cracked and missing blocks. If you could repair it, where would it take you?
- A pillager outpost stands on a hilltop in the distance. From its tower, a crossbow-wielding figure watches the horizon. They have not seen you yet.
- You hear a strange, deep thrumming from beneath the ground. The dirt under your feet is thin here. Something ancient is stirring below.
