Refund & Cancellation Policy
Storyteller is a digital service that delivers value the moment you use it. Cancellation is always one tap and always free. Refunds are limited and strictly defined below. Please read this before you subscribe, because by subscribing you agree to these terms.
1. Cancel any time, instantly, yourself
You can cancel a recurring Storyteller plan (monthly or annual) at any time, by yourself, from Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. You keep full Storyteller access until that date, you are not charged again, and your account then moves to the Free tier automatically. Your characters, custom worlds, and history are never deleted by cancelling.
Because cancellation is self-serve and immediate, it is your responsibility to cancel before a renewal if you do not want to be charged for the next period. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase with no recurring billing, so there is nothing to cancel.
2. Refunds are limited to a first-purchase trial
We offer one limited refund opportunity, and only this one:
- It applies only to your very first paid purchase on your account (monthly, annual, or Lifetime).
- You must request it within 3 days of that charge.
- It is available only if you have used the service no more than a brief good-faith trial. As a clear guide, that means fewer than 30 narrated turns and no custom world generated. Beyond that, the value has been delivered and the purchase is non-refundable.
- It is available once per customer, ever.
To request it, email support@anyworldgame.com from the email address tied to your account. If you qualify, we return the amount to your original payment method, in the original transaction currency, within 5 to 7 business days through Razorpay.
3. Everything else is non-refundable
Outside the single first-purchase trial in §2, all payments are non-refundable to the maximum extent permitted by law. This includes, without limitation:
- any renewal charge (monthly or annual),
- any purchase made after the 3-day trial window,
- partial or unused time after a cancellation (cancellation stops future billing, it is not pro-rated),
- plan changes, upgrades, and downgrades,
- second and subsequent purchases on the same account,
- the Lifetime plan after its 3-day first-purchase trial window.
You always have the self-serve cancellation in §1 to prevent the next charge, which is why renewals are not refunded.
4. Good-faith use is required
Any refund is conditional on good-faith use of the service. We log usage on every account for cost protection and abuse prevention, and we may decline or reverse a refund, and suspend the account, where we find evidence of:
- account sharing, credential resale, or multiple accounts,
- automation, scraping, or other violations of our Terms of Service,
- circumvention of generation limits or cost-protection measures,
- repeated purchase-and-refund patterns across accounts,
- use of disposable or anonymous email infrastructure to repeat the first-purchase trial,
- chargebacks filed without first contacting support.
Refund reviews under this section may take up to 10 business days while we verify the account.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact support@anyworldgame.com before initiating a chargeback. Most disputes are simple billing questions we can resolve quickly. If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, we will contest it with our usage logs, login records, payment records, and related communications, which evidence your acceptance of this policy and your use of the service.
Accounts associated with chargebacks may be permanently suspended, and any active subscription, Lifetime entitlement, characters, custom worlds, and remaining access may be forfeited. Repeat chargebacks across related accounts may be reported under card network fraud signals.
6. Service-side issues
If the service is unavailable or materially degraded for an extended period due to our own infrastructure (not your network, device, or an upstream provider), we may, at our discretion and on request, issue pro-rated service credit for the affected period. Outages caused by upstream providers (model providers, payment processors, authentication or hosting providers) are governed by those providers’ service levels, and we will work with you in good faith.
7. Region, currency, and fees
Approved refunds are returned in the original transaction currency to the original payment method, per Razorpay’s source-refund process. Currency conversion rates, bank fees, and card-issuer markups are outside our control and are not refunded.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any consumer right you have under the mandatory law of your country. Where mandatory law gives you a right that this policy does not, that law applies. Where it does not, this policy applies in full.
9. Free accounts
Free accounts can be deleted any time from Settings, or by email request to privacy@anyworldgame.com. Deletion permanently removes characters, custom worlds, and chat history within 30 days, except records we must retain for billing or legal compliance.
