Common questions
What do I actually get for paying?
More turns, and more worlds. That is the whole list. The game itself is identical on free and paid: the same narrator, the same permanent memory, the same worlds, the same mini-games.
Is anything locked behind paying?
No. Every world, the narrator, the permanent memory, adult mode and Life Recaps are all free. Paying raises your daily turns from 20 to 150 and lets you keep more than one world of your own.
When do my free turns come back?
Every day, at the same moment for everybody. They do not refill 24 hours after you run out, so if you use your last turn just after the daily reset you wait almost a full day, and if you use it just before, you wait minutes. When you run out the game shows you the exact time it happens in your own clock.
Can I switch between monthly, yearly and Lifetime?
Yes. In Settings you can switch from monthly to yearly or from yearly to monthly; the change happens when your current period ends, so you are never charged twice and lose no days. To get Lifetime, buy it on this page: the monthly or yearly plan you have stops by itself the moment Lifetime goes through.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Self-serve cancel from Settings. Storyteller features stay active until the end of the paid period, then your account drops to Free.
Do you offer refunds?
There is a 3-day money-back window on your first paid purchase only, available if you have barely used the service. After that, payments are non-refundable, but you can self-cancel any time from Settings and stay Storyteller until the end of the paid period. See the full Refund and Cancellation Policy.
What currency am I charged in?
The price on this page is the price on your card. We publish a fixed price in 46 currencies and charge you in the one shown above, so nothing is converted at checkout and nothing on your statement is a surprise. If your country is not one of the 46, you are charged in US dollars at $9.99 a month.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your characters and custom worlds are private to your account. We do not redistribute custom worlds, ever. See Privacy Policy.
Will the price change?
Existing subscribers are grandfathered at the price they signed up at, for as long as their subscription stays active. Today that is $9.99 a month where you are.
