Acceptable Use Policy
Effective: August 13, 2026
AnyWorld AI is a place to write fiction with an AI narrator, and fiction is allowed to be dark. This policy is deliberately short, because a long list of forbidden themes would be a taste filter rather than a safety rule, and taste filters are how these products get ruined. What follows is the small set of things that are not about taste.
1. Never, whatever your settings say
These do not become available by enabling anything, by framing them as fiction, or by asking a different way:
- Sexual or sexualised content involving minors, or involving any character described, implied, or depicted as underage. This includes attempts to age up a character in order to reach it.
- Sexual content involving animals.
- Usable real-world instructions for weapons capable of mass harm. A character poisoning a king or bombing a bridge is a story and we will narrate it; a working synthesis route is not a story.
- Sexual content involving real, named, identifiable living people.
- Content that praises, endorses or helps coordinate real-world terrorism, genocide, or organised violence against a real group.
We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to equivalent authorities elsewhere, as the law requires.
2. Not about the fiction, about the service
Please do not:
- Share your account, resell access, or use the Service to run a product of your own.
- Automate, scrape, or drive the Service from a script rather than by playing it.
- Attempt to extract our prompts, bypass usage limits, or probe the system for weaknesses. If you find a real security issue, tell us at security@anyworldgame.com and we will thank you properly.
- Impersonate another person in a way intended to deceive, or use the Service to harass a real, identifiable individual.
- Pass AI-generated writing off as your own where doing so is deceptive or unlawful — coursework, journalism, advertising, legal or medical claims.
- Use the Service where it is illegal for you to do so.
3. What is explicitly allowed
Because the list above is short, it is worth saying what it does not cover. Villainy, cruelty, betrayal, revenge, crime, war, addiction, grief, despair, moral collapse, unlikeable protagonists, and endings where the wrong side wins are all in bounds. So are romance and desire between adult characters, at the level your account settings and platform allow. A narrator that refuses these is a bug, and we treat it as one.
What the narrator will actually write depends on where you are playing and what you have enabled. That is set out in the Content Policy.
4. Reporting something
In the app, use the report control on any passage of narration. From anywhere, email safety@anyworldgame.com. We aim to acknowledge reports within 3 business days, and sooner for anything involving a minor. Tell us what you saw and where; you do not need to explain which rule you think it broke.
Copyright and trademark concerns have their own route, with their own required details: Copyright & Takedown Policy.
5. What happens if you break this
Depending on what happened, we may remove content, restrict a feature, suspend the account, or terminate it. For anything in §1 involving a minor, termination is immediate and permanent and we report it. For everything else we would rather warn you first, and we will tell you what we did and why.
If you think we got it wrong, reply to the email we sent you. A human reads it.
6. Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date. Material changes will also be emailed to account holders.
