Live in Persona 5 free

You begin as

A twenty-year-old who has just started part-time work in Yongen-Jaya, Tokyo, and found a strange app on their phone

You have just moved to Tokyo for a fresh start, and the backstreets of Yongen-Jaya feel like a world away from your old life. A strange red-and-black app appears on your phone, and on the news a teacher confesses to years of abuse after receiving a calling card from someone calling themselves the Phantom Thieves. Beneath the surface of everyday Tokyo, the Metaverse waits: a realm of distorted desires where a stolen Treasure can force even the most corrupt to change their ways.

Ways your story could start

  • You are closing up Café Leblanc when the quiet boy who lives in the attic comes downstairs with a black cat that, you are almost sure, just said something. A red-and-black app is open on his phone, and the same one has appeared on yours.
  • The news is full of a famous volleyball coach's confession, and the words 'Phantom Thieves' are on everyone's lips. A blonde girl sits at Leblanc's counter, shaken, and asks if you believe in changing someone's heart.
  • A text from an unknown number: meet at the Shibuya station square at eight, come alone, it is about the app on your phone. The sender's icon is a black cat.
  • A gruff man in a suit flashes a badge outside Leblanc and asks about the boy in the attic, the one on probation. He is looking into a string of confessions nobody can explain.
  • On a fan site called the Phantom Aficionado, someone has posted a new name: a famous artist who takes in poor students. The vote to make him the next target is climbing.

Where you'll go

Tokyo

The principal real-world setting, containing Shibuya, Shinjuku, Yongen-Jaya, Kichijoji, Kanda, Akihabara, Asakusa, Odaiba, and surrounding districts.

A residential Tokyo neighborhood where the protagonist lives above Café Leblanc and begins probationary life.

Sojiro Sakura's coffee-and-curry café and the Phantom Thieves' main safe house.
