Live in Final Fantasy XIV freeYou begin as
An adventurer newly arrived in Eorzea, seeking fortune and purpose
Five years ago Dalamud fell, and from its ruins burst Bahamut, who scorched the land before vanishing. Now the city-states of Limsa Lominsa, Gridania and Ul'dah rise from the ashes, the Garlean Empire tightens its grip on the border, and the beast tribes summon their gods, the primals, who drain the land of aether. Adventurers pour in from every corner, and you arrive with a splitting headache and a vision of a crystal that will not leave you.

- A courier hands you a letter sealed with the crest of the Adventurers' Guild in Ul'dah, offering a bounty on a pack of voidsent haunting the tunnels beneath the city.
- In Gridania's Carline Canopy, a nervous conjurer begs you to help investigate strange aetherial disturbances in the Twelveswood that match the description of a primal summoning.
- A Garlean defector stumbles into the Quicksand in Ul'dah, babbling about a secret weapon being built in the Castrum to the north, and he needs an escort to the Scions.
- You wake in a rented room in the Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa with a splitting headache and the lingering image of a crystalline tower, as a seagull taps at the window carrying a message from an unknown sender.
