Live in The Walking Dead freeYou begin as
A twenty-four-year-old survivor who has just found the camp outside Atlanta
The world ended a few weeks ago. You have walked out of Atlanta with a backpack, a crowbar and a bite of fear in your throat every time something groans in the trees. At sundown you reach a camp above a quarry: tents, an RV, a fire, a man in a sheriff's deputy's uniform called Shane who points a shotgun at you and asks how many walkers you have killed. A woman with a little boy watches from the RV. Somewhere in the city, a sheriff named Rick Grimes has just woken up from a coma.

Ways your story could start
- You arrive at the Atlanta survivor camp just as Rick Grimes is about to return from the city. Shane is suspicious of you, but Dale offers you a place by the fire if you can pull your weight. The camp needs a runner who can scavenge in the suburbs without drawing a herd.
- You are a lone survivor who stumbles upon the Greene family farm. Hershel is wary but allows you to stay in the barn for the night. The next morning you discover the barn holds walkers, and you must decide whether to tell the others or keep the secret.
- You reach the prison after the fall of the Greene farm. The gates are open and the cellblocks are empty, but a group of survivors led by Rick Grimes is already clearing the yard. They need extra hands to secure the perimeter before nightfall.
- You are walking the railroad tracks when you see the Terminus sign. A woman named Mary welcomes you with a smile and a bowl of stew. Something about the way the other residents watch you makes your skin crawl. You have to decide whether to stay or slip away into the woods.
- You find the walls of Alexandria Safe-Zone. Aaron opens the gate and offers you a chance to join a community with running water and hot meals. But the residents have never faced a real threat, and the man in the sheriff's hat looks at you like you are a wolf among sheep.
