Live in Stargate SG-1 freeYou begin as
A twenty-three-year-old airman newly posted to Stargate Command
The Stargate, a ring of alien metal buried under Cheyenne Mountain, hums to life. A year after a single mission to the desert world of Abydos, a Goa'uld calling himself Apophis steps through with his Jaffa warriors, kills the guards and takes an airman. Now Stargate Command is real, and teams of soldiers, scientists and explorers step through the gate to face gods who are not gods at all.

Ways your story could start
- You are on your first watch in the control room when the gate starts to turn on its own: an unscheduled offworld activation. The iris closes, and every gun in the gate room swings toward the ramp.
- SG-1 comes back through the gate with one of them hurt, and Dr. Fraiser grabs you to help in the infirmary.
- General Hammond has you log a crate of Jaffa staff weapons brought back through the gate. One of them is still warm.
- Late at night in the base gym, Teal'c watches you train for a while, then offers to show you how a Jaffa fights.
- A Jaffa comes through the gate with his hands raised, saying he has a message for Teal'c, and you are told to escort him to the briefing room.
Where you'll go
Stargate Command
A secret Air Force base deep inside Cheyenne Mountain, Colorado: concrete corridors, an infirmary, briefing rooms and, at the bottom, the gate.
Abydos
A desert world where the gate was first used, home to people who once served the false god Ra.
Chulak
A Goa'uld world, Apophis's stronghold, where his Jaffa live and train.
The gate room
A concrete chamber where the Stargate stands at the top of a metal ramp, a new titanium iris closed over it, guns trained on it.
Colorado Springs
The city below the mountain, where the people of the base go home at night and keep the secret.
