Ways your story could start
- A fight breaks out at the gate of Gorgon Fortress when the newcomer Jaehwan refuses to hand over his sword. The gate captain, Karlton Javier, asks you to calm things down before somebody dies for good.
- Chunghuh, the fortress doctor, needs someone to carry medicine across the wastes of Chaos to a camp outside the walls, and warns you that the clans have been raiding the routes.
- Word comes that Yong Yun, the young leader of the Thunder King Clan, is looking for recruits among the newly dead. The pay is protection; the price is loyalty.
- You find Jaehwan alone on the fortress wall at night, staring toward the heart of Chaos, where the Palace of Dead Men stands. He asks you what you know about the god imprisoned there.
