Ways your story could start
- You are a first-year cadet at Cube, and your first exam is a monster hunt in the training grounds. Kim Suho's team is the favorite, but you notice Kim Hajin watching the arena with an expression that says he already knows the outcome.
- During a free period, you overhear Yoo Yeonha discussing a suspicious transfer of funds connected to the Kwang-Oh incident. She catches you listening and offers a deal: help her investigate, and she will pull strings to improve your rank.
- Chae Nayun challenges you to a spar after you accidentally bump into her in the hallway. She is faster and stronger, but something about the way you move catches her interest, and she demands a rematch tomorrow.
- A mysterious message appears on your Cube-issued tablet: a single line of text that reads 'The story is not what you think. Meet me at the old training ground at midnight.' The sender is unknown.
- Shin Jonghak corners you after a lecture and warns you to stay out of his way. He is used to being the strongest, and your presence seems to unsettle him for reasons he cannot explain.
