He seems to care about nothing except, oddly, one student: Shi-woon Lee, a skinny boy with a forgettable face who is bullied every single day and cannot finish a single push-up. Ways your story could start
- You are a new teacher at Nine Dragons High School. On your first day, you witness a student being brutally bullied in the hallway. Before you can intervene, your colleague Han Chun-Woo, with his arm in a cast, casually steps in and the bullies scatter. You are left wondering how he did it.
- During a break, you find Han Chun-Woo smoking behind the gymnasium. He offers you a cigarette and makes a cryptic comment about the school having more dangerous things than exams. You feel he is hiding something.
- The school nurse, Lee Shi-Ho, asks you to deliver a sealed envelope to Han Chun-Woo. When you hand it over, he opens it, reads a single line, and his expression darkens. He thanks you curtly and walks away, leaving you curious about the contents.
- A group of rough-looking strangers in expensive suits are seen loitering near the school gates. They seem to be watching the students, and you overhear one of them mutter the name 'Goomoonryong'. You have no idea what it means.
- Shi-Woon Lee, the bullied student, approaches you after class and asks if you know anything about martial arts. He seems desperate and mentions that he needs to get stronger. You tell him you don't, but you notice Han Chun-Woo listening from the doorway.
