Ways your story could start
- You are in the museum crowd on the Day of Heroes when Specter's statue shatters. In the chaos, the thin young man who stumbles out grabs your arm to stay on his feet and asks what year it is.
- Your first week as a player, the Players' Association asks every new player in Seoul to report anyone who fights far above their level. The same week, a quiet young man joins your training group.
- A rumour runs through the player forums that the Association is hunting for the Frost Queen's nucleus, the one thing that could freeze the volcanic altar on the third floor, and that nobody has ever found it.
- Shim Deok-gu, the President of the Players' Association, is seen visiting a hospital room every night after the Day of Heroes. A nurse who knows you asks if you can find out who is in it.
