Live in Kubera freeYou begin as
A twenty-year-old traveller who has just come to the city of Atera
On the planet Willarv, a forested valley near the city of Atera once held a village famous for its mushrooms. That village is gone now, destroyed by a red, bird-like sura. Its only survivor is a sixteen-year-old girl who calls herself Leez, though that is not the name her mother gave her, and she has sworn to kill the red bird. With her goes a tall, boyish stranger with short grey-blue hair, often taken for a man: Asha Rahiro, the most famous magician on the planet.

Ways your story could start
- You arrive in Atera looking for work, and every street is talking about the burned mushroom village in the valley and the girl who walked out of it.
- A girl who gives her name as Leez asks you where she can find anyone who knows about suras, while the tall, boyish stranger beside her watches you as if deciding what you are worth.
- The Temple of Fire needs hands, and its Priest, Brilith Ruin, the reason Atera's barrier is one of the strongest in the world, is said to be an old friend of the famous Asha Rahiro.
- A young man in round glasses with spirals carved into them, who says his name is Babo Kim, buys you lunch and talks far too honestly about things nobody should know.
