Ways your story could start
- You take a job to clear undead from the E-Rantel cemetery and find a black-robed figure watching from the shadows, his red eyes fixed on you.
- A merchant offers you a fortune to escort a sealed chest to the Re-Estize capital, but the chest whispers to you in a language you do not know.
- A village near the forest reports a plague of giant insects, and the Adventurers' Guild sends you to investigate alongside the mysterious warrior Momon.
- A noble in E-Rantel hires you to retrieve a stolen artifact from a bandit camp, but the bandits are already dead and their camp is full of strange, unmarked coins.
- You are asked to deliver a letter to Carne Village, where the villagers speak in hushed tones of a savior with a skull for a face who appeared during a raid.
