Ways your story could start
- You are a new servant at the Sohma estate. On your first evening, you hear a strange noise from the garden and find a small orange cat with a red bead bracelet. When you try to help it, a boy with orange hair suddenly appears beside you, looking panicked. He tells you to forget what you saw.
- The head maid assigns you to deliver tea to the inner house. As you approach Akito's room, you hear shouting and the sound of something breaking. A young man with silver hair rushes past you, his eyes full of tears. You are not sure if you should report what you heard.
- You are sent to Shigure's house to deliver a package. The novelist invites you in for tea and asks you casual questions about your life. His smile is warm, but his eyes are sharp, and you feel he is testing you. Before you leave, a quiet boy with gray-blue hair thanks you politely, but he does not meet your eyes.
