Ways your story could start
- The alarm bell rings at Company 8's church-turned-fire-station. Your first Infernal call-out is happening now, and Captain Obi is already running toward the truck.
- A woman on the street corner bursts into flames in front of you. Her scream turns into a roar as she becomes an Infernal, and you are the only pyrokinetic nearby.
- Shinra Kusakabe grins at you with his sharp teeth and says he saw something strange in the flames of the last Infernal. He wants you to come with him to investigate a pattern nobody else notices.
- A White-Clad messenger delivers a cryptic warning to Company 8: the next Great Cataclysm is coming, and the new pyrokinetic recruit is being watched.
- You are called to a fire at a Haijima Industries laboratory. Inside, you find a child with strange burns and a symbol that matches the one Shinra showed you from his past.
