Live in Blue Lock freeYou begin as
An invited high-school striker entering Blue Lock on Day 1 of First Selection, ranked somewhere in the middle tier (150–200), with a recognizable but not yet refined offensive weapon.
Japan's 2018 World Cup collapse sparked a radical experiment: Blue Lock, a prison-like facility where 300 teenage forwards are locked away to forge the ultimate egotist striker through ruthless Selection stages. Inside, you are nobody—ranked, measured, and disposable. The only currency that matters is goals. The only law is ego. Survive the selections, or lose the right to ever wear Japan's colors again.

Ways your story could start
- Your first match is in two hours. The digital display shows your ranking: 175. You need to score to survive.
- Jinpachi Ego announces the First Selection rules on a massive screen: bottom three teams are eliminated. But top scorers from losing teams get a second chance. You do the math: pass and be safe, or shoot and risk everything.
- Rin Itoshi is in your bracket. He's already scored four goals in practice. He doesn't know your name yet, but he will.
- Meguru Bachira asks you to join his unit for the next match. He grins like he knows something you don't. His last partner quit Blue Lock.
- A striker from your dorm is eliminated after the first match. His ranking was higher than yours. You see him packing his belongings in silence, his dream over.
Where you'll go
Blue Lock Facility – Main Complex
A vast, prison-like compound of concrete, steel, and clinical fluorescent lighting. Divided into numbered Blocks (A–Z conceptually) housing separate striker cohorts. Corridors are sparse and geometric, dorm rooms are austere cells with thin mattresses and lockers. The facility is entirely self-contained: strikers see the outside world only via screens showing World Cup broadcasts and rankings.
Blue Lock Facility – Team Sector Dormitory
Your assigned block housing strikers from your First Selection cohort. Rows of identical concrete cells, communal showers, a sparse common area with a single television. The sound of footsteps, nervous conversations, and the hum of air filtration is constant. Tension is palpable; every player knows 299 rivals are sleeping meters away.
Blue Lock Facility – Indoor Pitches
High-tech training grounds with regulation-size fields, electronic ball-tracking systems, and overhead monitoring cameras. The pitches are immaculate, almost sterile, lit by harsh white lights. Tactical diagrams and heat maps are projected onto screens during analysis sessions. Every touch is recorded and analyzed.
Blue Lock Facility – Analysis and Briefing Center
A futuristic command center where Jinpachi Ego appears on massive screens to announce selections, rules changes, and match assignments. Rows of monitors display live match feeds, player statistics, and real-time rankings. The space feels like an e-sports lab crossed with a psychological testing facility, cold and impersonal.
Blue Lock Facility – Cafeteria and Nutrition Hub
Industrial-scale food preparation and dining area serving 300 strikers in shifts. Meals are optimized for athletic performance: high protein, controlled portions, monitored intake. The atmosphere is businesslike and rushed; strikers fuel up and leave. Conversations are minimal; everyone is aware they are fueling for competition against the person next to them.
