Delete your account
One screen, two taps, no email required and nobody to talk to. Deletion is permanent and immediate.
From the app or the website
- Sign in.
- Open Settings from your profile menu.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
- Confirm. That is the last step; nothing is queued for later.
What is deleted
Everything tied to you, permanently and without a recovery window:
- Your login and profile
- Every character, alive or dead, and their full history
- Every custom world you built
- All narration, chat history and stored memories
- NPCs, relationships, quests, locations and world facts
- Life recaps and death cards
- Push notification subscriptions
- Usage records and subscription history
There is no undo and no grace period. We cannot restore an account after deletion, because there is nothing left to restore from.
What is kept, and why
If you ever sent us feedback, the rating you gave and the turn you were on are kept so we can still see what was going wrong for players — but they are detached from you, and any message you typed is destroyed along with the account. Payment records are retained where tax and accounting law requires it; those are held by our payment processor, not by us, and they contain no story content.
Cancel a subscription first
Deleting your account does not by itself cancel a subscription bought through the App Store, because Apple owns that billing relationship. Cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions before or after deleting here. Subscriptions bought on the website can be cancelled in Settings, and are cancelled automatically when the account is deleted. Deletion does not trigger a refund; see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
If you cannot reach Settings
Email privacy@anyworldgame.com from the address on the account. We will verify it is you and delete it within 30 days, usually within 3 business days. This route exists for people who have lost access, not as the normal way to do it — the button above is faster and needs nobody's help.
